'Some older projects that were fun but challenging'

Visual dialogue projec

It is amazing how the module  you perceive to be the most challenging and scary, can be the most productive, fulfilling module in a semester.

I found this project exciting creative and thought provoking.

It all starts here at the beginning!

Development work is very important all ideas
thoughts and sketch notes should be put down. It shows the thought process as well as the progression of a design.

Final design black permanent marker on perspex scratched into with a sharp scalpel.

I realised that sketch noting would become an important part of my Graphic design journey.

My personal work also allows me to be creative and stretch my skills.

Who would believe that I would eventually be able to master illustrator. There is still a lot for me to master and learn but I am pleased with my illustrator journey so far.

Drawings completed using illustrator. Drawings are 2 of a set that has been produced for a professor's book that is due to be published next month.

First drawing produced using two colours, client requested more colour within image.

Final drawing altered by adding more colour as client requested.

These drawings were done by hand with black fine liner then colour was added using photoshop Gradients.

A taste of sketch noting! I love It.

Sketch noting

Will post more sketch notes later. The first three were a series of sketch notes of sermons I took notes of at Sunday service. Sketch notes can be done for anything anywhere. Lectures, meetings, church services as well as to capture events like weddings, Christenings and other life events.

More sketch book work

Drawing is a really important part of this degree and the more sketching you can do to build up this skill the better a designer or illustrator you will become.
